  1. clearly articulate what these principles/values were
  2. know why I wanted to keep them
  3. explain why I wanted to keep them
  1. What are my values?
  2. What do I want my values to be?
  3. What values do others have that I admire and may want to adopt?
  1. What do I want from life? By that I mean, when it’s all said and done, what do I want to say I got from living?
  1. How do I work towards answering those questions?
  2. How do I work towards becoming the person these answers depict?
  1. Map out who you were (the good and bad), and who you currently are (the good and bad).
  2. Try to understand why you held certain principles/values.
  3. Clearly articulate the principles/values you want to keep.
  4. Articulate the principles/values you want to adopt.
  5. Explain why you want those values.
  6. Plan how you’ll embody these values.
  7. Live by them.
